How to measure for Bolster Cushions

No skill is required to measure up for a bolster cushion, it’s simple.

  1. Measure the length of the space where the cushion will be placed. For example: if it is 604mm enter to 60.4cm
  2. Enter the desired diameter of the bolster cushion

Pro Tip: Most bolster cushions are normally 15cm – 20cm in diameter and 60cm or 80cm in length.

  • STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR PIPING

    What is piping: Piping on a cushion is the thin fabric tubing that goes around the edges of the cushions. Piping is somewhat like a fine/small pipe that is around all the joins/ edges. It can provide a premium look and can be made in difference colours to provide a contrast. If that seems daunting you may like to know that most cushions use the same fabric on the piping as they do for the cushion.

  • STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR FILLS

    Bolster cushion are filled with a Dacron fibre, it will drain just as fast as quick drying foam and is more comfortable and unlike foam bolster cushions, these custom made bolster cushions can be used a pillow.
